Enjoyed my shoot with Tanner at Bridgeport this fall to capture his senior portraits. Best wishes and happy blessings to you, Tanner, for a bright future and a great final year in high school. You can see more from this shoot by becoming a fan of Pippen Prints on Facebook. ;)

I Heart Faces--"Smirk" Challenge (my first entry! Yay!)
On my list of photographic to-do's (among 'update website' & 'post on site as often as FB') has been to take a leap and participate in the weekly challenges posted on a new (fabulous) photography community at I Heart Faces. This is my FIRST entry--tummy-butterflies excluded, I'm just happy to participate.
Anyhow, I didn't realize how hard it would be to find a "smirk" photo, but I did find a few and finally decided to enter this little buddy of mine. He begs me to bring my camera every time I visit, however when it comes to actually getting better than squinty-eyed-sassy faces from him I usually wind up with some resistance in the form of "smirk," as shown here.

I think I also chose him because as the middle child he usually is very patient to let big sister or little brother take spotlight. Today it's his turn to shine...or should I say smirk. ;)
Check out more entries at I Heart Faces. So many amazing talents to learn from!

Video Montage
I just added a video slideshow of some of my recent work to the sidebar at the right. It was fun to try a new montage of my favorite images to music.
You can make one of your favorite photos by visiting http://www.onetruemedia.com/. It's very basic, and if I do this again I will likely try to build a video slideshow on my own. But for now, this will do and was a fun step into showcasing my photography in a modern way.
Here is my first attempt at video. I hope you enjoy!
If you "YouTube" you might also enjoy my friend's new vlog (that's video+blog for any web newcomers). He's a great photographer and has a good sense for timing humor and commentary. You can check his journey out by visiting DavidAnastasiou on YouTube.

Justin and Claire--Fall Family Photos
It was an honor and pleasure to meet with this family for their fall family photos. The kids were SO cute as a gold miner and prairie girl! Great costumes! I'm sure they were hits with trick-or-treating. :) I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season celebrating the blessings you have in each other.
